Although it has only been one week for me, I know its working! And the focus on nutrition has been wonderful. I thought I knew it all, I was mistaken. I have already lost about 5 pounds and I am very excited to see how much more I can lose!

When other people notice my body transformation, I know it is all worth the 5:30 a.m. bootcamp. So many friends ask “How do you get up that early in the morning?” but the feeling is like no other after you’ve worked out and you’re ready to face the day. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about something entitled “Boot Camp”. I envisioned a lot of yelling and not the most nurturing environment. However, since day one of camp, I have been nothing but thrilled to wake up and hang out with my newly acquainted friends. After two camps, I have learned so many new exercises that have stirred muscles I didn’t know I had! The biggest change for me has occurred in my arms, hips and abs. I feel so much leaner and firm. I’m into a size 4 and my energy level has seen a significant boost. So, whether it’s interval training with weights or yoga and Pilates, I look forward to every morning’s new adventure.

I have been working out for several years at a gym doing both cardio and weight lifting. I never felt like my body looked like it should with all the working out I did. I never really lost body fat or weight, my clothes always fit about the same, in fact before I joined boot camp my clothes had actually started to fit tighter.
It is amazing to me to see the transformation of my body. I feel and look so much better. My clothes are loose – in fact I almost need to buy a smaller size! Boot camp is not only motivating, it has improved my fitness level and overall health due to the nutrutional information you provide throught out boot camp.
I will be 50 in March and I plan to be in the best shape of my life!

The four tough weeks paid off! I lost 10 inches and 21 pounds! At the beginning of boot camp I could not do a single sit up; at the end of boot camp, I did 15 sit ups!! Wow, talk about results!

I was about to turn 40, and was sick of being sick and tired. I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life, tried every diet and get skinny quick gadget out there. I have spent more money on gym memberships than I care to admit. I still hadn’t found a service or product that worked for me.
My best friend had heard about Metroplex Adventure Boot Camp and mentioned it to me. She knew I had been struggling to find something that would motivate me.
I signed up for the May Adventure Boot Camp. The first 3 days were tough for me. But, slowly, I started feeling stronger, faster and more energetic. Everyone was so encouraging and they inspired me. I was able to keep up with a few modifications for my fitness level.
My Adventure Boot Camp trainer helped all of the campers with our nutrition. I really became dedicated to tracking my food and my water intake. I really started paying attention to food labels and limiting my sugar intake and monitoring my carbs and fats. Eating clean became second nature to me.
Prior to Boot camp, I drank an average of 6 diet sodas a day, on my way to work, another with my breakfast, another mid morning, and one with lunch. You get the idea. Since stopping all of the soda, I found that my headaches have gone away and I started having more long lasting energy.
After my first camp, I lost 7 lbs, and a total of 6 inches. My body fat dropped 3.4%!
After completing my 2nd boot camp, I have lost 11 ½ inches and 20lbs!! In the beginning I could only do 4 push-ups, and 39 crunches. Most recently I was able to do 26 push-ups and 100 crunches. With boot camp I am building lean muscle and ridding my body of fat.
All I can say is that I absolutely love the transformation. Don’t get me wrong, there are still challenging days like “Butt Lift Wednesdays”… but as my boot camp coach says, “You Can Do Anything for Thirty Seconds.”

I arrived at boot camp overweight and out of shape – a true couch potato who loved food and hated exercise. But, I knew it was time for a change and Adventure boot camp sounded like just the cure. What I was really looking for was something to jump start me into better fitness and eating habits.
What could be better than four weeks of intense fitness training with other women under the guidance of an experienced trainer? And the classes were great! The variety of activities and pace of the class made the hour fly by each day.
Don’t get me wrong, it was a lot of hard work. You pushed me harder than I would ever push myself working out alone. But you also allowed for the individual abilities of each participant. It didn’t matter that I was the slowest or the weakest. What matters is that I worked at and improved at everything. And the results are impressive.
During the four weeks, I lost eight pounds. I lost two inches each around my chest, waist, and hips. I also lost over one inch on each arm and leg. I improved my one mile run time by 10%. Plus, I have more energy than ever. Best of all, it has given me just the boost I was looking to attain.
I’m now eating better, sleeping better, and exercising regularly. I have the hope and belief that I can continue my new fitness habits and my journey to a leaner and healthier me. And I’m looking forward to returning to future boot camps to challenge myself again.
